Provider Database
A curated directory of affirming mental health providers, wellness practitioners, and community resources in the Philadelphia area and beyond.
Finding the right provider is hard. Insurance directories are incomplete. Referral lists go stale. And for marginalized communities — LGBTQ+ folks, BIPOC individuals, people with complex trauma histories — the stakes are even higher. You need someone who gets it without you having to explain your existence first.
This database is built for people who want real options, not just the first name on a list. Every provider here has been reviewed for affirming, competent care. No promises about availability or fit — but a better starting point than a random search.
What’s Here
- Mental health providers — therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, and clinical social workers with affirming practices
- Wellness practitioners — doulas, bodyworkers, acupuncturists, and integrative health providers
- Community resources — support groups, crisis services, legal aid, and advocacy organizations
- Philadelphia focus — local resources prioritized, with statewide and national options included where relevant
How It Works
Browse by category. Each listing includes the provider’s name, specialty areas, contact information, and any relevant notes about their practice (insurance accepted, sliding scale availability, telehealth options, language access).
This is an active resource — it grows as I vet and add new providers. If you’re a provider who’d like to be listed, or a client with feedback on a listed provider, reach out.
The Database
The full directory is being built now. Check back soon — or drop your email and I’ll let you know when it launches.

For Providers
If you’re a mental health provider, wellness practitioner, or community organization serving the Philadelphia area and you’d like to be included in the database, send me an email with:
- Your name and credentials
- Your practice name and website
- Specialties and populations served
- Insurance accepted and/or fee range
- Any affirming-care designations or relevant training
I review every submission before listing. Inclusion is not guaranteed and is not an endorsement of clinical competence — it’s a starting point for people doing their own research.
